Personally, I don't see much of a need to track lots of stuff in ministry, but I guess the type A engineer-type people do. *shrugs*

I don't understand why tracking what is happening in ministry is not very important. If we are truly leading our ministries don't you think that we should be paying attention to trends and what may be expected every year on this particular month or weekend? How are we doing numerically, because it really does matter.

Tracking some things as a church is important, such as finances, church involvement, conversions, stuff like that. But sometimes I think we get over-analytical and start to track EVERYTHING, which honestly just gets cumbersome for me and kinda pointless.
