They are free and royalty free photos.
I use the stockxchange too. But it only has photo files. What I like about the creativemyk site is the various forms like Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign files. Really cool
I often use http://www.istockphoto.com to grab images to use on my blog, but unfortunately they're not free. They do have a very large selection, though, that's organized pretty well.
